With multiple goals to accomplish today, students chose to work in different groups according to their preference.
Four students worked with Mr. Cooper and Mr. James on installing the software for the FTC robot.
Most of the Camden Military students spent time watching the FTC game video and brainstorming ideas for the robot.
The rest of the students spent time getting the FRC robot, “Roadkill,” ready for the SCRIW competition in 2 Saturdays. Currently, the arm that collects and shoots the balls is broken and there’s always a need to tighten screws and check connections.
Finally we had to make the decision of canceling our participation in the farmers market this weekend. We wanted to sell candles and have the students demonstrate how the robot works, but due to the impending arrival of hurricane Matthew we decided this weekend would not be the best choice. Right now, it seems like we will be at the farmers market on the 22nd. You can still purchase online anytime through our link:
Stay safe, folks!
